Let’s Talk About Dogs

This website was born out of a profound love for dogs and the crucial need to educate individuals, both adults and children, about the responsibilities of dog ownership. It serves as a vital resource for those contemplating the addition of a dog to their lives or families.

A dog is a commitment. A lifelong investment, as dogs on average live up to 15-16 years. Globally we face problems related to dog abuse, neglect, and an overpopulation problem, particularly in areas such as Central America and Mexico. There is a lack of education, not just in developing countries, also here in Australia and across other continents, including Asia the USA and Europe.

Thankfully there are many organisations set up all around the globe that assist with spay and neuter programs to stop the street dog population from growing. These organisations perform incredible acts of kindness, rescuing sick and injured dogs, giving them the opportunity to live healthier lives off the street, with the hope of them being adopted.

It aims to provide dog owners and potential owners with essential, common-sense tips. These insights will assist individuals in determining their readiness and capability to embrace the responsibility of caring for another life, which relies entirely on their human for food, love and shelter.
